Managing Terrorism Incidents: Lessons Learned from France

**Please note: sessions will only be offered in English**

This one day workshop, hosted by the CACP Counter-Terrorism and National Security Committee, will highlight best practices from our partners in France in order to enhance Canada's ability to counter terrorism domestically.  This will be achieved by running through a real-life case and reviewing the challenges specific to commanding and responding to a terrorist attack.  Following that, we will look at the tactical considerations of dealing with an attack.

Target Audience (restricted to Security and Law Enforcement agencies only)

Strategic Command portion: Chiefs, Deputy Chiefs and Senior Command

Tactical Considerations portion: Law enforcement personnel involved in tactical responses

Attendees can attend for the entire day, but may choose to attend only the portion relevant to their portfolio.

Please note that this is a private event and registration can be denied at the discretion of the CACP Counter Terrorism and National Security Committee.  Notice will be sent out prior to the event should your registration not be accepted and a full refund will be issued.
